The party in celebration of John's life will begin at 4PM at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, VA. Here are some directions from Arlington to the Marriott. There will be hot appetizers, wine, and beer. Cash bar for hard alcohol. All are invited.
Updated Mon Feb 26th 10:56AM: The party at the Marriott at 4PM will be an all-cash bar. Sorry for the change, but the large expected number of people and the prices the hotel were quoting drove the cost up.

There are plenty of rooms available at the Marriott. Call the hotel directly at (703) 849-9400. The normal rate is somewhat high for the area, but you may be able to get the government rate of $188 per night, if you mention the reason for your stay. The catering & sales staff may also have reserved a block of rooms at a different rate, but they only work Mon-Fri. We will update here once we hear more information back from the hotel.
